The copyright law in Europe, is given by Directive 2001/29 / EC of the European Parliament and the Council of May 22, 2001, on the harmonization of certain aspects of copyright and related rights copyright in the information society
Directive 2001/29 / EC of the European Parliament and the Council of May 22, 2001 in its article 5.3 the following exceptions and limitations for use of copyright to the field of education are distinguished. .... 2-c) in respect of specific acts of reproduction made by libraries, schools or publicly, or by archives, which are not intended for direct or indirect economic or commercial advantage museums. ....... 3 a) a) use for the sole purpose of illustration for teaching or scientific research purposes, provided that, except in cases where it is impossible, the source indicated, including the author's name, and to the extent that this is justified by the noncommercial purpose pursued All the above rights may be waived or limitations referred to in Articles 2 and 3 by the member states Source: Directive 2001/29 / EC of the European Parliament
The author is the owner of copyright in the moment of creation of Web resource (Article, animation, sound ...), and registration is not necessary in any registration to make use of this right Therefore we can say that the resources available on the internet have the same legislation which applies in other areas When we use copyright material we use the laws of each country where we are.
